Eczema is a general term for any type of skin inflammation. Sometimes it can be very mild, just dry flaky skin and in other people it can cause skin to be very red and inflamed, itchy, dry and sore. It is an allergic reaction because people that suffer from it tend to have extra histamine in their bodies which is what is produced when there is an allergic reaction to something. People with eczema tend to have a higher likelihood of having other allergies too.

The menopause is a time in a women’s life when her menstrual cycle stops. It is a time of great changes in the body and can lead to may symptoms due to hormonal changes such as hot flushes, bad moods and sleeplessness. Some women do not suffer from any symptoms and others can suffer quite badly. It is not normally a condition that medication is prescribed for apart from HRT, which replaces the hormones which are changing.

Asthma is a condition which normally has to be treated by prescribed medication. It sometimes needs to be taken regularly and sometimes just when the condition is bad, depending on the severity of the condition. There are herbal remedies which can be taken for it as well, but these should only be taken when approved by your medical practitioner and alongside the medication that has been prescribed.
